WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT APPROACH
This is the construction version of the website for
the Dominica Diplomatic Service. Through an iterative approach (constant
consultations, adjustment of plans based on feedback, etc.), this
construction version will gradually be transformed into the final, official
website. The DiploWeb project is supported by the Swiss Agency for
Development and Cooperation.
The key elements of DiploWeb methodology are:
- clear strategy (vision) and flexible
(adjustable) implementation;
- team
work (diplomats, designers and information specialists);
- evaluation
after each step;
- focus on usability
of website (how should it serve the needs of the diplomatic service?);
- capacity
building (increase diplomats' understanding of the Internet and web as a
tool of public diplomacy).
